THE CONCRETE NEST

Designed by the Manufaktura Studio team for a young couple without children, this apartment combines a bold design with serene, cosy touches. The layout includes a kitchen, dining and living area, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a dressing room, and a laundry/technical space.

A subtle level difference divides the apartment into day and night zones, creating a dynamic and geometric flow. A long hallway, with contrasting black and textured walls, connects the two areas. Concrete ceilings in the living spaces add an unexpected industrial edge, softened by natural materials and warm finishes throughout.

The open kitchen is centred around a spacious island with black marbled ceramics, white tones, and wooden accents. It flows seamlessly into a dining and bar area designed for entertaining, with a hanging chair adding a playful, eye-catching detail. The dining space brings in vibrant colour through its chairs, contrasting with a calm palette of white, grey, and black, complemented by textures like concrete, wood, and leather.

Each of the three bathrooms was inspired by the ambiance of a boutique hotel, featuring wallpaper accents and unique colour schemes. The master bathroom pairs black wallpaper with earthy tones and elegant gold fixtures. The guest bathroom introduces dusty pinks, parquet flooring, and natural elements, while the third bathroom combines black, blue, and grey hues for a cosy, refined feel—centred around a striking bathtub and ample hidden storage.

Throughout the apartment, doors are discreetly integrated into the walls using Filomuro systems, including the entrance door, maintaining a clean and seamless aesthetic. The result is a sophisticated, welcoming space that balances minimalism with character.
